The Materials Research Society has a long and rich history of success in launching and executing impactful grassroots programs that resonate with the materials community. From funding special project requests for MRS University Chapter initiatives, to Strange Matter, a lobby display that, due to the vision and determination of many hard-working MRS volunteers, has become a popular and long-running traveling interactive science museum exhibition... the materials landscape is dotted with exciting and innovative grassroots projects envisioned by our community and championed by our Society.
Leveraging institutional and individual support, the Materials Research Society Foundation serves the MRS Mission and strives to move the Society toward our Strategic Aspiration and our DEI Aspiration.
MRS recently launched a Diversity and Inclusion fund and reformatted its Corporate Partner Program in support of our DEI Aspiration.
